The Importance of Seeking ILM in Islam

“Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” Only those who possess intellect take admonition.
(Surah Az-Zumar, Verse - 9)

In Islam seeking ilm is so important that Allah(S.W.A) has raised the ranks and status of those who have ilm. The sahabahs and ulamaas used to travel from one city to another on foot just to learn one hadith. and has praised them in many places in the Quran.  Allah says: “Allah raises of those who believe and those who have been given knowledge many levels.” (Surah Al-Mujadila – Verse 11)

There is a great difference between a Muslim who has ilm and one who does not. The Prophet (ﷺ) described this in his saying: “The excellence of a scholar over another (ordinary) worshipper is like the excellence of the full moon over the rest of the heavenly bodies” (Abu Dawood). He (ﷺ) also said: “The excellence of a scholar over another (ordinary) worshipper is like the excellence of me over the least of you.” (Al-Tirmidthi)

So, we should enroll our kids under the guidance of an Allah-fearing, Mutaqee teacher to learn the Quran Majeed and gain knowledge of the Deen. This way, they can learn about the beautiful religion to which they belong. Parents will be rewarded by Allah if they guide their children to become Alim, Alimah, Hafiz, or Hafiza. A Hafiz will have three generations forgiven, and an Alim will have seven generations forgiven on the Day of Judgment.

Our Educational Approach

Our school goes beyond regular teaching, focusing on your child’s spiritual and academic growth. With our caring teachers, our goal is to help your child grow, discover their Islamic heritage, and become an alim. We believe in guiding each child to become knowledgeable and earn blessings for generations to come. We aspire for them to be better alims, serving the ummah and spreading the deen to the world.

In this section, we have organized classes from Maktab (4th level) to Fazilat (2nd level), with ongoing lessons up to Mishkat Sharif. Here, our hardworking young scholars put in dedicated efforts around the clock, under constant supervision, especially in our madrasa’s education department. This is our most important section, focused on grooming skilled scholars in religious studies.
